Last week's trip to the cardiologist went as well as could be expected. Jonah's heart murmur is caused by blood flowing from the lungs to the heart too quickly, and he will grow out of it. They also found some things that are normal, but not common. They don't cause any health problems, but aren't found in the majority of people with a normal circulatory system. When blood flows to his head it goes up the left side of his neck, and down the right side. In most people it goes up the right and down the left. He also has a left aortic arch, which I don't remember what that means, but it has something to do with things going opposite directions from most people. The doctor said everything works, it all just works differently!

Another "big news" item: We will be leaving the Cleveland area to live in Toledo. Daryl has accepted a job at Hanson Inc. in Toledo. The company had been looking at Daryl for quite some time, and finally made him an offer he couldn't refuse. I have several mixed emotions about this move. On one hand, I am thrilled because it means we can get out of debt without me having to go back to work. I am pretty much guaranteed to be able to stay at home with Jonah and we can maintain the lifestyle we enjoyed before I stopped working outside the home. One the other hand, I was starting to like our current lifestyle. I just found a pediatrician that I like, mommy groups to go to, and activities for Jonah like library time and gymboree classes. I know all of those things still exist in Toledo, but I already have them here. Not to mention, all of my friends and family are here! And all of the work I've recently put into making this house a home. It's all just a little unsettling. I am hoping that I'll be used to the idea soon. We will be moving around the first of November.
